Star Trek Picard is not Star Trek

Anyone fancies a bottle of Slug-o-Cola? I've got it in bulk.

I'm never again buying anything online while drunk on Romulan ale, ever.

Which fans wanted it? Half of the old fans hate Kelvin timeline movies, i remember even Into Darkness has been voted the worst ST movies a lot of times in convention polls.

I really doubt that fans wanted to see things like the platform Sulu vs Ninjas fight, the pathetic giant Kirk hand or the laughable plot holes like how Kirk is sent in a pod directly to the same planet where old Spock is. And no mention to some horrible scenes in ST: ID or Beyond like when the bad guy tests the "weapon" against one crew member or when CGI Khan fires like Terminator against everyone in the Klingon world. Yeah that's very loyal to the old Trek hahahah
Someone's bringing their 2009 problems into 2020.

And no, that was one convention poll of less than 100 people, led by a guy who has the same opinion of those movies as yourself.

I'm still mad at the switchover from pure sugar in soda to high fructose corn syrup.

And #10. The "best" for last... Alamarain!

Alamaraine!

I have a bit of a confession to make (it is Lent after all ;) ). I actually like that episode of DS9. I always liked freaky 'other universe' types of stories where you don't know what's real and what's not. And some of it kind of reminds me of the Jim Henson movie "Labyrinth", esp. the party scene in the game.

And I love the scene where Quark is groveling when he still thinks he has to choose which character dies. I love the look on Odo and the alien's face (I forget his name off hand) as they lean over the table.

You know what was on my mind in 2009?

Well, I hotlinked, apparently, so I'll just tell you. BROPHYMANIA BROTHER

I have a confession as well. Although I dislike the episode, I love Alemarain! It's campy goodness, and the cast looks equally cute and ridiculous playing hopscotch, especially Nana Visitor with her oversprayed hair.

Aren't they back in the Delta Quadrant in the novels?
Lol, on purpose or by accident? It’s like Gilligan’s Island movie, where they were rescued to only end up back on the island anyway.

Hello.
I can't be more dissappointed with this new series. I'm 25, i grew up with Star Trek since my parents showed me some VHSs of The Original Series when i was 2. Since then i have loved this incredible world, from The Cage to the last season of Star Trek Enterprise.

This is just my personal opinion, i dont want to start any discussion or ofend anyone.

Been in hospital all week and just seeing this...........most ironic post I've seen in a while. BTW I can't remember shit from when I was 2.
