Spoilers Star Trek: Picard General Discussion Thread

Is Worf the worst or is Sarek? :D
Worf. Before Disco? Worf. After Disco? Definitely Worf.

(My Boy and I just watched Disco: If Memory Serves and Project Daedalus. I love the Spock family SOOOOO much. It's like 90% of what's good in Disco. Spock as the bratty little brother EVEN IN THE 2250's is so wondrous.)

Tough call. Worf has essentially abandoned his one child, while Sarek has at least three children (that we know of). He was completely neglectful of two of them and the third he messed with her head by denying her entry in the Vulcan space service.
OK, I haven't factored in Sybok. Still Worf. But it made me think.

Not sure yet what I think of Bev Crusher as a parent. Also not sure where I'm putting Captain Freeman.

Ben Sisko for the WIN!

I was a bit miffed too that Kestra was mentioned once (in prison on the Shrike) and then never again. She's obviously driving the Changling!Riker nuts on Nepenthe.

My headcanon is Neelix annoyed the fuck out of the Riker Changeling and has been babysitting her ever since, feeding her a steady diet of leola root. What? If Picard can deal with the Hirogen and the Kazon are seen regularly in Prodigy, I'm sure Neelix could've made his way to the Alpha Quadrant (if anything, to annoy Mr. Vulcan:lol: )

Did they ever explain what Vadic’s foot soldiers were? Are they just changelings that cant be arsed to put on a body?

They were changelings. Terry Matalas said so on twitter and we see some of then shift from being on the floor to that "creature" shape on the Titan turbolift.

Technically "said so on Twitter" doesn't count ;)
(See: the Federation class DN we clearly saw in E1 vs what Terry "said on Twitter" about it not being a Federation class DN)

The only thing less reliable to me is "said so on Tik-Tok".

Ultimately I'm happy if Picard season 3 is good for Star Trek. I only hope they won't duplicate the exact way Matalas produced his season 3 on another show. It is possible that a Legacy show that's not a sendoff for Picard may be rely more on itself than nostalgia But then there's that name..

So here’s a question since they renamed the titan-A the enterprise, can we all assume that Captain Shaw is technically an honorary captain of the Enterprise?

Not in this case because the Titan ceased to be the Titan once she was rechristened.

He *would* be considered in the legacy of the Titan-B whenever it shows up
