I want to see Jake Sisko, Federation News Network Editor in Chief broadcasting the clandestine recording Shaw and Seven took of Tuvok outing himself as a Changeling and broadcasting Picard’s TNG style final speech where he gives the Federation citizens whichever way Crusher, Bashir and the EMH develop for detecting Vadick’s super Changelings.

I’d love to see some DS9 characters other than Worf this season. I am not holding my breath at this point and that’s okay. But being an issue of “fairness” is not how I’d describe them not appearing.

Yeah. I'm currently holding out hope for O'Brien, because Vadic mentioned to go after all known associates of Picard, anyone he might turn to for help. I suspect that was just the pretext for why they have Troi, but it's possible Miles would have turned up on that list too.

Speaking as a diehard Niner, sure, it kind of sucks that Worf is the only DS9 alumni here (and yes, I know, he's moreover here because of TNG). But it is what it is, maybe Legacy gets off the ground someday.

There is no way to fit DS9 characters in as effortlessly as you can Voyager characters into this story. I want DS9 characters, but who could they have realistically had who fits as well as Tuvok? Hell that could have been half a dozen Voyager characters. DS9? Who? Odo and Admiral Ross actors are both dead and they're the only ones who may fit.

You can not bring Captain Sisko back for many reasons.

Ultimately, it's whatever actors were in L.A. and available at the time. This is probably the last time they'll be able to do anything like this.

It would be more expensive to fly these actors out to Toronto, just for brief cameos.

I feel like the best opportunity for some form of a Quark cameo was lost in S1 when they were on that not-coruscant planet where you saw the "Quarks" bar sign. They could have had a face shot of Quark doing a holo-advert, but it is what it is

Colm Meaney is a working actor with a lot of demand and even then it wouldn't make sense with how his character ended in DS9. I doubt he'd just do a cameo, he seems like he'd be happy to do something with the character again if it was good. Tuvok is probably gonna end up with 5 minutes of screen time max.

He does some adverts in the UK for betting now that I think about it, which is probably far more money for far less work.

You can not bring Captain Sisko back for many reasons.

Really any DS9 character could have fit that scene since it’s been 20+ years and we don’t know who’s interacted with who. I mean go back to S1 and Picard and Seven talked as if they’d met several times since Voyager returned.

But for this scene in particular, you coulda had Worf on the bridge of the Titan reaching out to Kira, Martok, Bashir or Ezri instead of Seven & Tuvok.

I do think we’ll get a DS9 cameo in one of the last 3 episodes. It just won’t be one on the level it probably should be for a story involving the shows major villain.

might look at the BTS stuff like Ready Room. They usually have better looks at costumes than what's in the episodes.

Really, really dude??? I hope you're joking. We're talking about Dominion and Changelings and S31 and their conspiracy. How can you do it with charaters who were in Delta quadrant in Dominion war period like Tuvok and Seven, and you can't do with let's say Bashir and O'Brien who were part of Dominion war, who syntesized cure for changelings from S31 Sloan's mind?
