It was just something I finally noticed only now. Whenever I watched TWOK, I was too caught up in the action to even notice. Likewise, in PIC, I didn't even notice any of these things. But when someone shows a pic on this board and it's the middle of the night, I'm looking, and I'm thinking, "Wait a minute... "

No. If you did, it was probably some moron on the Reddit who took "I'm a pacifist" waaaaayyyyyy out of context. It was a one-liner that was supposed to make the audience laugh when they saw the Trailer. Terry Matalas even said as much. "I'm a pacifist." "We're all doomed." I thought it was funny and I laughed, so, mission accomplished. At least on my end.

To be fair we never saw a 100% unobstructed, no fog/mist/vapor shot of the Genesis Torpedo in full profile in TWOK and only a briefest picture of it in a graphic during the "Genesis Presentation"

Worf does seem calmer, more cool headed and controlled..but that comes with age and experience.

To be fair we never saw a 100% unobstructed, no fog/mist/vapor shot of the Genesis Torpedo in full profile in TWOK and only a briefest picture of it in a graphic during the "Genesis Presentation"

And whenever it was shown in the movie in person, it was in the outer locker, except when Khan activates it in the transporter. And then the center was really brightly lit. But I'm pretty sure it was the same shape overall.

You very obviously haven't watched a single episode of Picard, especially this season.

A) They've stuck to the '80s/'90s look of everything with only minor differences if they've had any at all.

B) I know you haven't seen any of it because Worf looks like Worf.

C) Most important: They've shown a TOS-style Constitution Class ship at a Fleet Museum. Not the SNW version. The TOS fucking version.

So you're mistaken in the extreme when you're talking about this series and especially this season.

I don’t quite understand why, in combat situations, these Changelings always maintain humanoid form. They’ll shapeshift to imitate some other character, but they never turn into, I don’t know, the famous (i.e. I just made it up) Mican Snapworm that can use its whiplash-arm to instantly kill an opponent at twenty paces. I don’t think the revelations in tonight’s episode change the fact that they ought to be able to.
