I strongly suspect that context clues will come as the season unfolds. Otherwise, what's the point in having a season? Here's the whole story in cliff notes form so you all can check the boxes!
Hey, I got my wish! I didn't even notice myself, but just saw someone point out that Terry Matalas' wife, Amy Earhart (star of Pink Five and background Vulcan in ENT) is the voice of the Eleos computer.Terry Matalas is married to someone who appeared (in a very minor way) in Enterprise. I wonder if there was even a remote notion of trying to find a spot for her to cameo in Picard in any way. Although I believe she gave up acting quite a while ago.
Just an idle thought.
GG, man, GG.Yo, I think the next Enterprise is gonna be a real G!
star of Pink Five
Nice! I didn't know that. Good for her. Trey must be so proud!Hey, I got my wish! I didn't even notice myself, but just saw someone point out that Terry Matalas' wife, Amy Earhart (star of Pink Five and background Vulcan in ENT) is the voice of the Eleos computer.![]()
It's true.Wait, what?!
That might work if S2 is moved back to 2400 (which is actually mentioned in that season), and then they are celebrating the launch of the NX-01 (which wasn’t the literal birth of either Starfleet but whatever, you can take metaphorically).David Blass just confirmed on Twitter that Picard season 3 takes place in 2401.

Not sure if a spoiler but I will put it here to be safe.
Interview with Patrick which mentions a scene with Frakes where they are both digitally de-aged for what I assume will be a flashback.
You might want to go back and check out the rather long list of assorted Star Fleet Officers we've seen over the years that weren't exactly living up to that ideal image you've got in your head.I am sorry, but I am still disappointed by the depiction of Starfleet officers in the late 24th and early 25th centuries. Why are Starfleet captains and admirals shown as bigoted, small minded and backward thinking people? In the TOS & TNG eras they were much more forward looking and open minded. If you say the show runners are doing this to mirror our society then I would say that’s not entirely Star Trek. Star Trek usually use alien races to represent our current flawed society and use Starfleet officers as the idealized, evolved society. They are the high ground, so to speak. But not in Picard, I find the current depiction of Starfleet officers in Picard quite revolting.

All of them are shown that way? Or is it a select few who have experienced trauma and need to work through it through personal experience? Because this is what Trek has depicted before:Why are Starfleet captains and admirals shown as bigoted, small minded and backward thinking people?
