Spoilers Star Trek: Picard General Discussion Thread

???? ... and he should just disappear because other's attempt to attack him for his own personal thoughts?
That's pretty shitting thinking on your part.
Way to go there sport.

A: It was a joke (about the internet, not him).
B: I think you meant shitty.

I'm starting to consider the possibility that Picard causes the divergence he meant to prevent. Just like in All Good Things. And if you go over what Q said, he was blaming Picard for the dystopia.

It's also strange to consider the specific choice of year, considering there has already been a dystopian divergence in 2024. Do we have proof that we are not, in fact, in the Past Tense-verse? Except the comment that the divergence is in Los Angeles and not San Fransisco.

Something slightly weird is the amount of DS9 references, considering that last season they supposedly didn't even mention the Dominion War as not to confuse the audience.

Now I want to see this timeline's Mirror Universe episodes, where characters cross over and are horrified to find themselves in a timeline that's very slightly worse than their own in some ways.

They'd be horrified at the regular mirror universe, with the backstabbing to gain power, Aliens serving as officers in the military instead of being eradicated or being used as slaves.

To be honest, I wonder how much of this is actually another timeline or if it is just more of Q's fuckery.
