I want to see Picard Season 2 in February. Evan Evagora also says he got to do more sword work in season 2.That's what I want to see Picard and his crew returning and their stories.I don't care about Discovery. The cat is the only thing I like about that show. Discovery is going on Hiatus and will return on Februray 10 and Picard is being pushed back to a later date.

Discovery is going on Hiatus and will return on Februray 10 and Picard is being pushed back to a later date.

Again, I ask for a link to an official announcement that the season is being pushed later. Because this is just unfounded speculation at this point.

Trek Central has a link on twitter you can read their articles there.Trekmovie also just posted Discovery episode 7 will be shown on December 30. and the Discovery series goes on hiatus. It says it'll be a month and a half and will be returning February 10 on twitter and seems like it may be true.Trekmovie says it will have a ripple effects for Season 2 of Picard they also mentioned they didn't want a overlap with Discovery showing the rest of their season four shows .Paramount plus on Twitter just confirmed the Discovery hiatus story sorry it looks like it's going to delay Picard no new date has been posted as when Picard season 2 will be shown after discovery finishes it's season.It's disappointing for Picard fans will be waiting longer to see finally the second season later next year.

Still idle speculation. Call me when it's an official announcement from Paramount+ (which the Trekmovie article says DOESN'T EXIST).

What about Picard season two?
There is a possibility, perhaps even a probability, that this announcement could have a ripple effect on the second season of Star Trek: Picard. On Star Trek Day, Paramount+ announced Picard was to return in February 2022. This was also shown in a new trailer released on that day. Paramount+ has not provided any update on Picard as of today; however, it would not be surprising if they moved the season two debut to avoid any overlap with Discovery.

Not sure who this is directed to, but I have Googled "Picard Season 2 premiere / delay / etc..." multiple times, and all that comes back is "Picard Season 2 is set for a February 2022 premiere!"

Hopefully someone from Paramount will let us know what's going on when Picard season 2 premieres .Sorry for any confusion with Picard news or with the Discovery hiatus . I'm sorry if I came across as rude and grumpy it's been a stressful few weeks.

No one, really. Just my general opinion largely because results vary so much.

During 'The Ready Room' for the newest Discovery episode, Frakes said he was currently shooting Picard Season 3 and he asked if he was allowed to tease anything, they said he could say "Don't forget about the Borg queen"

Which could be a Season 2 tease, but it's an odd thing to tease when she was already announced and shown in a Season 2 trailer back in September. Maybe she shows up again in Season 3?
