That was getting pretty borderline. I should at least slap your wrist for that.No one ever accused Trek fans of being smart...![]()

My bad...it was meant as a joke and clearly not taken as such. I apologize. That was getting pretty borderline. I should at least slap your wrist for that.

any thoughts of maybe, Ensign Ro showing up in season 2? Was thinking she may be in charge of the Fenris Rangers? or atleast the Cell that has Seven? Michelle Forbes seems to be free!
Leonard Nimoy, Mark Hamill, Tom Baker, now Christopher Eccleston, they all come around in the end.I think Michelle Forbes has refused as many offers of returning to Star Trek as Guy I Am has green eggs and ham.
Mind you, Christopher Eccelston had a similar feeling toward Doctor Who and now he's doing audiobook dramas.

It's not like Ro's life was a happy story.Thing is, whenever Michelle Forbes shows up in a show, someone's life is about to really suck. She seems to be drawn to dark projects.
While I still think that her innuendo and actions are her teasing Namek, or at least can be explained that way, more than anything else, but Chabon has gone on record stating the effort in filling in the Romulan culture included a different attitude towards sex...yes, an "alien" one to us.Am I alone in being entirely okay with Namek and his sister being a couple? I want the characters to be disgusted by it but making the Zhat Vash incestuous hillbilly weirdos would fit with their "thousands of years old cult" thing.
Am I the only one who sees a fundamental difference between the Federation leaving people to die and the Federation building a massive fleet to save billions only to have it destroyed along with all of their efforts? Also, after they’ve lost a member (Mars?) and presumably have refugees of their own?
I was reading Keith DeCandido's reviews on Tor and just can't get into his perspective.

We’ve already seen the Federation’s side of the decision to abandon the Romulan refugees to their fate, and this episode shows us the Romulan side of it, and I continue to intensely dislike this particular plot choice. Again, we’ve been down this road before with the Klingons in The Undiscovered Country, not to mention the fact that the Federation has always been about helping people, going all the way back to “The Corbomite Maneuver” when the Enterprise offered to aid the First Federation ship when they appeared to be in distress even though that ship had been nothing but hostile.
I got some Picard book news Dayton Ward said in a podcast interview he's been reading Picard Season 2 scripts and there's going to be some Picard books coming out and TNG books. Since the official news hasn't been released yet he can't tell us who the authors are for the books. He talked about it on the Captain's Table table podcast you can find the link to listen to it on his twitter page. The news is near the end of the interview when they were wrapping it up.
