Spoilers Star Trek: Picard General Discussion Thread

Not only that, but they are using DSC Shuttlecraft still, seen in the latest teaser. I'm guessing the producers are going to tell us nitpickers 'not to worry about it'. But I can't....you can't use another shuttle design from 170 years ago and think it should still be used in service.
How long was the Excelsior class used in Starfleet? A least 80 years with no indication Starfleet was going to change it.

No doubt that in the future, people will have the same interest in whatever is retro, so if Starfleet's not using original DSC-era shuttles in PIC, maybe they put them back on the production line. The VW van/bus/microbus/beetle and DeLorean are back, to use some current examples.

It's essentially a 'school bus', repurposing an older Model-Type Shuttle (not necessarily an OLD shuttle) seems logical to me.
Especially since the "Discovery" shuttles are quite large and can hold a lot of people.

It's Interesting that Cbs is releasing so many new Picard previews before the series premieres in a few weeks.

Manu tweeted:

Judging from this tweet, I'm assuming that Icheb is going to be alive and kicking at some point down the road. (It would've been rather morbid to announce on Twitter, "HEY! I DIE IN SEASON ONE!" )

If Icheb is going to die in S1, why bother with Manu? They would've just used a body double.

I saw a new Picard preview on Youtube with Picard talking about an attack and alot of people have been killed. It showed old time romulan warships And they showed what looked like seven holding the injured or dead man during the attack.Ditto Its seems like they're showing alot of first season episodes already with the spoiler stuff in these adds:devil::evil::vulcan::lol::guffaw::D:whistle:.

Manu Intiraymi will never appear on Star Trek again, because he's built himself a reputation as a creeper. He torpedoed his own chances at ever appearing in Picard when he mocked Anthony Rapp for being indecently assaulted by Kevin Spacey, and now he spends time on Twitter trying to drum up support for an Icheb return, but it will never happen.

I always liked Icheb. He was one of Voyager's few interesting supporting characters.

He was as close as a son to Seven of Nine.

Kill Icheb ... Seven is coming for you.

I don't know. It's not my problem.

maybe you could put all the trailers into an edit suite and try and piece together an episode!!

interestingly Manu did play icheb again in the unofficial Renegades film with Walter Koenig and several other former Voyager stars- but it seems he’s blown his chance of returning properly

If he's inconvenient, the other kids should return. I remember a girl with a few lines and twin guys with maybe a word each XD
The evil kid would be cool, he was good!

Picard is a serialized show. TPTB appear to have a definite game plan.

If the story's not there, there's no point to bringing Icheb in.
