Is Hugh canonically human then? I don't see anything to indicate otherwise, though I Borg seems kinda early on for the Borg to have a human drone with no pre-assimilation memories.

By the look of pictures floating around Hugh has had all his implants removed and has odd scaring where they used to be. So I'd guess he's human now and not a cyborg but why is 7 still Borgified a little?

You mean after all these years they can't remove her implants?

I mean it's odd Hugh is a human and not a humanoid alien. They had to invent some weird in-universe story for 7 to explain why she was a human assimilated at a young age.

He looks human-ish. Just because he doesn't have any visible alien ridges/spots doesn't mean he is not sporting three huge **** to give even Klingons envy

Maybe she doesn't want it?

Surgery is risky (I've had two ankle surgeries in the past seven years). There's a risk of not waking up again.

Even if they remove the externals, there's ALWAYS going to be pieces of the Borg within her.

Perhaps she's reached that point in her life where she no longer feels the need to hide.

One eye really is different from the other.

I can see the thinking that went into that decision (either it was the last spare part in storage or someone just didn't think enough of Hugh to try to match his natural eye color).

My showing of Skywalker had Picard as one of those trailers before the trailers.

Seeing Seven of Two Guns on the big screen made me squee in delight!

The theater I went to on Friday morning, played the PICARD trailer twice before the SW movie started.

Looked really great on the big screen.

The Borg are lefties. They might also have a lot of left handers and no righties hehe.

You guys are really making me wish Fathom would do a Picard showing.

There clearly are residual implants left. For all we know, he could be Ba'ku, El-Aurian, Angosian, Bandi, Vendicarian...

Based on Guinan's response to Q the first time we saw the two of them meet and his counter response to her (trepidation, fear?)
I would guess that the BORG were never able to actually assimilate an El-Aurian.

There's obviously something special about them if Q is nervous around one of them.
