I might be a bit biased, but I'd go with Picard, as the wait time has been longer.

On Trekmovie's podcast they were talking about Picard season 2 news and mentioned Whoopi Goldberg's character Guinan maybe appearing in a couple of season 2 shows and that Oh maybe coming back as the villian again too.

I mean, it has been confirmed she'll be in Season 2 since last January.
Or at the very least she was asked by Patrick last January and she said yes.

Yes Whoopi mentioned again on tv her character Guinan might have a story arc on Picard for her character and she discussed it with Patrick Stewart recently. Since Sister act the musical was canceled due to the pandemic in England this spring. .And the host also mentioned there were doing location shooting scenes in Santa Clarita for the first couple of episodes too. They want to get as much stuff done for the first 3 episodes right now.

Very random, but I just thought about it: I'd like if they could find a way to work Ezri Dax in somehow. She was only on DS9 for one season. So it would be nice for Ezri to get more exposure if there's anywhere where it would make sense to in Picard.

Alexander Siddig said that he'd be open to returning as Dr. Bashir if the writers of PIC could come up with something he thought was worthy of the character and showing that Julian had grown in the near-25 years since the end of DS9. If he did return for an appearance they could always write Ezri into the episode or episodes as his wife or somebody serving with him in some capacity.

Siddig has been one of the most consistently busy members of the DS9 cast since that show ended, and in some rather high profile projects, so I'm sure his bank account is doing just fine.

Well technically I'm discussing his spending habits, not his salary. I'm basically saying it's possible Alexander Siddig might enjoy the company of high brow prostitutes causing him to spend all his money and then need more by working on Picard. I don't see the problem here.
