oh please, not this again. This is a post First Contact/ENT rewritten timeline, so the events could have unfolded slightly differently. We don't know what we have seen of their lives. Lots of time travel butterflies since then

Strict literalism. That's why.I don't understand why people are taking the dates and numbers listed in TOS as being absolute unmovable stone monuments of perfection.
It's not, they're not, will not.
Nope.haven’t they perfected birth control by the late 24th century?
Nah, plot needs prevents that.haven’t they perfected birth control by the late 24th century?
Lower. No birth control will ever be 100% foolproof. Just call it a gut feeling.
Bad news: Picard season 3 appears to be nothing beyond a shiny remix of 50+ years of Star Trek’s greatest hits. Maybe that changes deeper into the season

SISKO: Surprise is right. How did? You?
KASIDY: One of us
SISKO: One of us
KASIDY: Forgot our injection last month.
SISKO: Julian reminded me of that. It's just that the way things been going on
finally getting caught up on season 3. love the sound track choices so far
really hoping Shaw gets snapped back into line, he's a bit too much of a dick. I'm fine with officers each having their own personality and not everyone being TNG ideal but he's over the top with bis blatant disrespect
Get used to it. The entire season is like that.Another damn cliffhanger.

I saw episodes 3.1 and 3.2 on a long flight two nights ago. Good news: I’m in Hawaii after that flight. Bad news: Picard season 3 appears to be nothing beyond a shiny remix of 50+ years of Star Trek’s greatest hits. Maybe that changes deeper into the season, but seriously — haven’t they perfected birth control by the late 24th century?
I give episode 1 a three, and episode 2 a two.
Clearly, I’m no longer the target audience.
ETA: I apologize for not reading through the first 100 pages of this thread. Sorry if my observations have already come up.
The episode had a very Wrath of Khan kind of vibe, I liked it, and like Captain Liam Shaw and his temperament and he's consistent throughout. This was something I was hoping for Seven where it wouldn't be easy for her to deal with a CO who may not see things the way she does. I like this conflict and I hope it progresses to something fruitful in the future of this final run. Picard and Riker was like old hat, chemistry was on point, something I look forward to as this serial goes on.
There was no episode, it was a story created for this show.what episode in the TNG is Rigel VI? The search engine said "Myriad codec" was used in Rigel VI. I don't remember any of it, since when was this "Myriad codec" ever used in TNG?
