Accelerated program with the backing by Picard and Janeway according to the audio logs.

The timeline for this season is confusing to figure out. It could be anywhere from still being, 2401 to 2405 or 2411

It's definitely not a year later. Most likely 2 or more. Raffi got canned from Starfleet and dumped by 7. I find it hard to believe that happened in one year. Wait thus is Raffi so it's possible. Lol

I was freaking bummed they didn't release two episodes at once. And I kept checking how much time was left in episode because I did not want it to end.

They really should throw us a bone once and while, their adherence to one-episode-a-week seems petty. Even the series premiere of Discovery was two episodes.

I'm wondering if the break-up was just another cover story or if it's real. (I'm leaning towards the latter.)

Also, I assume she has no direct contact with her granddaughter or her son. (Maybe with her DIL though.) She seemed to almost reach out to the video/ still as if she wasn't allowed to.

I loved this episode. Very good setup for the season. And I kind feel I know who the villains are base on the curious residue and the comment of Beverly's son that "Each time they had different faces" ...
I was thinking that too but the politics and nuance involved in that story would be beyond what I have come to expect

It happens in real life.

Highly unlikely. Also Picard is a Starfleet officer. He would have had to gone through a in depth psych examine. A starfleet captain has to be near perfect so starfleet medical would have caught this. The psych examines by picards tike were pretty sophisticated. It doesn't make sense.

Based upon what?

If you have to explain every little detail of your art, maybe it's just bad art. Same with a TV show. If you can't show your story on screen and people need to ask you directly what did you mean by this or that, maybe it was not a good story to begin with.
No.
So he never once talked to his brother about his mom? I find that laughable. Lol
How many conversations between Picard and his brother have we seen?

Probably part of her cover story, She's working for Starfleet Intelligence. It's right there in the episode.

Have you met Starfleet? More than a few Captains with mental problems.

I know at least one person who would say otherwise.
I've worked with more than my fair share. The number of people who don't talk about their trauma, for a variety of reasons, is staggering.

Two. And Robert never seemed very open with Jean-Luc.

I thought you need a diagnosis to get in!

Let's not forget, Seven held the senior post of an entire department for four years (even if she was the only crew member in said department).

*And, despite what on screen lore implies, Starfleet must have some kind of OCS program. It would simply be logistically impossible for it not to.

Stellar Cartography needed two DeLanneys.

Kim built Astrometrics to punish those women.

One of those girls was stalking him, and the other was ghosting him.

They had to be sent down to the lower decks where they build shuttles to never be seen again, so that Harry can deal with his hurt feelings and other milksop inadequacies.

As for when Crusher got knocked up, the S2 TNG hiatus folks ate patently ridiculous. So then she abandons the kid for the next 6 years of TNG and no one knows about it?

Pic 3 in 2401 or later. TNG 2 was 2365. That kid ain't 35. Nemesis was 2379. Has to be AFTER Nemesis.
I'd place it in 2401 as all the Frontier Day posters on Earth say "Celebrating 250 Years..." and if that's in reference to the first Earth Starship launched to explore the Frontier; that would be the NX-01 in 2151.

2151+250 = 2401.
