I feel like the cliff hanger is gonna be a Federation fleet to the rescue, but they're actually there to arrest Picard.

I don't think the Enterprise is gonna be involved cause it'd be like Disc S1 again.

If they are there to arrest Picard it would indicate that Clancy may be in on it, I haven't seen any indications of that yet apart from her rapid rise to Commander in Chief.

Alternatively Clancy may intend to grab Picard and everyone involved to try and keep control of the situation as her career is on the line, that would not be enough on its own to confirm she is a part of it though.

I'm pretty sure I saw Jagger and Richards too in the background of that scene. They were just barely recognizable under all that Ferengi make-up.

Yeah, for all their prudishness regarding GLBT stuff in the past, they sure are trying to make up for it! But honestly, that orgy was a bit much... I just don't think viewers are ready for it.

I think it was mostly the questionable choice of using Yakety Sax as the background music. It ruined my immersion immediately.

Clancy is SOOOOO in on the Commodore Oh fix. I think Picard even foreshadows her downfall in ep 2 when he first goes to her office to ask for a ship. He says: "Ignore me at your peril" or something to that effect. We will see this.

At this point I don't think its certain either way, she could simply have been an unwitting useful idiot for the Commodore or she could have been in on it from the start.

My money is on the former for now.

We wont have long to wait to find out.
