Star Trek passings

Peter Crombie who appeared on DS9 has died at age 71.
Rest in Peace.

Ah, yes, Fallit Kot from the episode "Melora". Probably the silliest make up job in Trek history. How does a species evolve to eat with that thing over their face? It looked like a handle to pick up his head like a suitcase. I could imagine "Lower Decks" making fun of that one. The irony is, if you got rid of that, it looked like a pretty good alien make-up.

TrekCore are reporting that Gary Graham has passed away, aged 73.

More details about Gary Graham in this Nerdbot article, quoting an update from his ex-wife's Facebook page:

"It is with deep profound sadness to say that Gary Graham, my ex husband, amazing actor and father of our beautiful only child together, Haylee Graham, has passed away today. We are completely devastated especially our daughter Haley. His wife, Becky was by his side.

I met Gary when I was just 20 years old and he was one half of the star duo on the tv series, Alien Nation. But he had already been in movies like “ All the Right Moves” with Tom Cruise. Of course, Gary has many more credits.
Gary was funny, sarcastic sense of humor but kind, fought for what he believed in, a devout Christian and was so proud of his daughter, Haylee.

This was sudden so please pray for our daughter as she navigates through this thing called grief.

Fly high into the heavens Gar! Thank you for our journey and thank you for the gifts you left me in acting, my love of horses and most importantly, our daughter."

Very sad, really liked him as Soval. He was on the Shuttlepod podcast last year and came across as a very nice human being... RIP!

he was great as Tanis in the Voyager episode Cold Fire which is my favorite episode.

In Axanar's heyday, professionals like Graham, Richard Hatch, Tony Todd and the others really elevated the project to heights that would have otherwise been mediocre at best. To date, I think only J.G. Hertzler remains of that 2014 first-generation cast.

Also he was in Outer Limits and was in Twilight Zone but his lines were cut and he only showed up in the background. Great old time character actor!!

Also was in Wild, Wild West and Kolchak and was a Korean war vet!! Bravo!
