I've been making runs in the Badlands Battleground and I'm getting about 300-500k per run, Find a large group of player ships and just tag along, as more players equals more NPC ships, equals more loot. Just make sure you go with an empty inventory and be sure to loot everything.
Doesn't loot drops eventually hit a cap?
I never make much ec (rarely 10m in bank) but I tend to sell contraband on exchange. Though apparently that's being nerfed, and I never bothered running alts to make moolah. It's a game not a job.
As far as I know, there's only an item drop cap for Foundry missions. All Cryptic developed content doesn't have item drop caps.
As for other sources of ec, a run of 6 admiralty assignments usually net me between 10-200k ec. I heard Tour the Galaxy can give 1-2 million depending on how well you run it.

I may not be a fan of the JJ movies, but I like that ship a fair bit (it's a streamlined refit Connie basically. With strange engines.) and I hear it looks great in different ship skins.
I'll have to give it a shot.

If you're looking for a fast(ish) cash in - sell some DOFF's. I've made around 230 million EC the past week or so clearing up my roster (and with an excess of fleet credits, it's easy to replenish when I need to).
I'm looking for Mk XI Medical Tricorder and Nanite Health Monitor kit modules for my AoY toon. Other than buying from the exchange, does anyone know where to get them?
