Another 8 from me. Absolutely lost it with Badgy when he appeared. Thanks for the flashbacks to the Windows 95 era! Also loved the Lethal Weapon 2 reference! Kind of disappointed we didn't actually get to see inside the cargo ship hulk, but that's really a minor inconvenience. Also, what's wrong with Starbase 80? Literally LOL'd at the guy in the background going "Starbase 80? Oh damn!"

I was a little disappointed that Fletcher had _some_ skills (like defusing situations), but he completely lapsed into an incompetent boob after the Chu Chu concert. This is Fletcher's only real episode, but his character was definitely secondary to plot.

I wanted to make Badgey into an avatar, but his rampage made me think twice.

JG Hertzler was credited too, probably as the Drookmani Captain. No background on the NCC-502, other than it being a 100-year-old ship (~2280) and being from a time of clamshell communicators.

Loved the Titan shoutout and Tim Robinson's turn as Lt. Fletcher. I can only imagine how his six weeks on the Titan turned out with Captain Riker and crew.

I hope McBrayer's Badgey becomes a recurring nemesis. Rutherford's Moriarty.

Rank: 2 out of 10 (the number of pips Fletcher had at the end of the episode). Not as good as last week's 1 out of 10, but a solid try.

I didn't look at the credits but Badgey sounded like him.

Per MA, Tim Robinson was Fletcher, and Hertzler sounds like the Drookmani leader. Making Badgey the most likely character for McBrayer to play (and possibly to return as).

Did Tendi ever get to learn spacewalking?

WE MAY NEVER KNOW.

I didn't think Captain Freeman's actions were all that problematic. She could have wiped out the scavengers at any point and was in no danger except for the idiocy of the jerkass Lower Decker. Killing them all over some junk would be low for Starfleet.

Ah, another "HoloDeck" gone wrong episode.

And the Badgey / Clippy reference =D.

So if you do something "Heroic" like, save the ship from certain doom, you get to skip ranks in promotion?

Kelving Time-line Kirk went to Captain super fast for just saving Earth once.

Fletcher saved the ship according to reports made, and he gets move straight up to Lieutenant from ensign?

I did not expect this... XD

I wonder if their species are intercompatible when it comes to pro-creation?

I wonder what a Half Catian / Half Bajoran child would look like?

One thing I like is the clever misdirection at the start regarding Fletcher's characterization.

We think Fletcher is diplomatic because of the opening scene and it shows why the main pair would cover for him.

But, in fact, it's showing that Fletcher's primary skill is covering his ass and deflecting blame. That's how he's gotten through Starfleet. He's developed the ability to dodge responsibility. Even our heroes miss this is Fletcher's primary skill until he tries it a dozen times in rapid succession. Even the "not smart enough, must zap my brain" thing is just an indication he's a guy who probably cheated in the academy (like James T. Kirk!)

Mariner gets him promoted because she knows on a better ship (especially RIker's ship) that a Wesley type will inform on him.

Who ever thought we would have Jack McBrayer in a Star Trek Show. Not me that’s for sure.
It was alright but to reference the Titan and then not show Riker or any others is a letdown.
Also, Robin Hood wasn’t a holo program. That was a Q.

The show doesn't care, it just wants to keep feeding you those 'Memberberries.

Fletcher didn't last six weeks on the Titan. He lasted less than a week, more like a few days, seeing how he contacted Boimler and Beckett six days after being promoted and getting his transfer. I would love to know how he managed to throw trash into the ship's warp core.

Watching the episode again, it became clear to me that they reused many elements in the junk field, resulting in at least two NCC-502s. Both of which were thrown against the Cerritos.

It surprises me that the Drookmani scavenger ship has no weapons. Scavenging is a dangerous business. One would think they would have some kind of defensive weapon other than a tractor beam.
