Do you still do that?

Do you still do that?

Not just me. Four of us were so enthralled by last week's episode, that we gave it a score of #1 or #2. The week before, five of us voted in appreciation of Episode 2. And the premiere episode is a resounding success, with nine people giving it a #1 vote. I assume that the poor souls who gave it a bad score of nine or ten are just misinformed about the new, official voting system, mixed in with a few haters who give every episode a 10 because of their anti-nuTrek bias.

The fans of Lower Decks have spoken. Vote Low, Vote Often.

I liked the bonding we got with Mariner and Freeman. They are kind of alike, both have very revealing egos. Durango the Tellerite was fun, and I really liked that we got a bit of a sci fi plot this week. The terraforming effects eating up the ship was really well done. I'm not sure how I felt about the Tendi storyline. I guess she and Rutherford are not destined to be a couple, unlike what we saw in the first episode. They do make a fun team though.

I officially hate Mariner now. The yawning is just way too annoying :scream::mad:
Punishment by skipping-a-rank-promotion XD
Leafblowers are still a thing -.- :ack::barf2:
What the hell was that ascension thing? Seemed a bit like V'Ger's ascension XD
New ship class coming next week: USS Vancouver

SOME RANDOM THOUGHTS:

1. I wish they'd just ditch Mariner being a 5 year old. She can act out in much more believable and interesting ways.

2. However, I'm glad the crew worked together to save the day.

3. I am pretty sure Ascension Guy got eaten by that koala.

4. I think Ransom trying to get Mariner to quit is dickish of him versus his portrayal last week.

5. I actually think the generation ship was sad. Mind you, I'm wondering if it was meant for THE OUTER WORLDS game.

6. Durango is an even worse captain than Freeman.

7. I suppose Orion women are not used to being disliked.

8. I'm surprised they didn't make a "no money" joke about the poker game.

9. I notice they bleeped out what the holodeck is cleaned up for when I'm pretty sure they meant to say "cum."

10. Boimler is even more of a weasel. I don't think Mariner and he are friends.
