Hi, I just binged all three episodes. Very nice work (and very impressive bridge set) — and importantly, you get it, re Trek.

(If I were to offer the very slightest quibble, it did seem kind of telegraphed that one threat would turn out to be protecting offspring, and that another meant “we’ll all die” . But the essential spirit of humanistic conceptual breakthrough being the key was spot on.). Good performances from your cast, too!

Of course, you’re right that it is somewhat predictable. But I don’t really see that as a bad thing. What was important to us was to convey the core idea of Star Trek. The miners aren’t evil, they’re simply driven by their experiences and what they’ve been through.
