Star Trek/Legion of Super-Heroes coming!

@Timothy Imra is a little young for Kirk at this stage and Garth would send a few volts of electricity if Jim did that :)

but come on it's KIRK. he hits on any female in known universe if she's not under his comand.

Okay...I think this is my favourite crossover series of all time! This just continues to be better as we truck along. The reveal of who the Emperor is was just spectacular and didn't see it coming at all! My previous prediction was incorrect. Kirk hits on Shady!!! Both the art and writing for this series is just fantastic.

Could someone with absolutely no knowledge of the Legion whatsoever, jump into the mini, or should I do some research on the DC Database first?

^ Sure they could but you might be lost with the references. The Legion team featured here is the one from the famous Great Darkness Saga which is an iconic Legion story. A little research would be good though.

Why not? Kirk, Spock and McCoy got plunged into a first meeting.

I know a few Legion character names, costumes and faces, and I read a few "Secret Origins" stories about some of them about 30 years ago - and I'm doing fine.

For some reason I've missed out on seeing this in the forum before tonight. So I had no idea this existed. Back when I read comics I was a huge Legion fan. I never thought there'd be a LSH/Trek crossover. It sounds awesome. I was a huge fan of the Great Darkness saga when it first came out so I like it being referenced in the comic. I'll have to get this when the trade comes out.

I have to admit that this miniseries is good. No, it's great. I poked fun when it was announced, but I'm seriously loving the results.

Star Trek Zombies (Infestation) blew chunks, so at least I was right about that.

Just finished issue 6
and can anyone name all the time machines Flint/Savage has gathered. I spotted two TARDIS, Bill and Ted's phone booth, a Delorean, Rip Hunter's Time Sphere, the Cosmic Treadmill, two HG Wells' Time Machines and the Hot tub time machine

You mean issue #5. :)

There's also a Stargate in that two page spread. One also resembled the Epoch from Chrono Trigger with its wings folded in.

I'd love to read the DTI file on this. :)

I too am really enjoying this crossover. My only complaint is that Kirk is perpetually shown as a womanizer. I worry about the end of issue 5. Does this mean no one will remember what happened in the series?

If so, sigh.

@Allyn unfortunately Christopher has stated these are considered "imaginary stories" to him so given that reply there aren't any DTI case files on these since they didn't occur :) But yeah as I mentioned in the Doctor Who/TNG thread the DTI those realities DTI's probably would get a headache with both these cases :)

Here's what I spotted in Flint/Savage's collection:

TARDIS
Master's TARDIS
Bill & Ted's phone booth
Stargate
Dagger of Time (Prince of Persia)
Lazarus' ship (TOS: "The Alternative Factor")
Hot tub time machine
Rasmussen's stolen time pod (TNG: "A Matter of Time")
DeLorean DMC-12
TEC LV-4 (Timecop)
Federation timeship Aeon (VOY: "Future's End")
HG Wells' time machine
Time Tunnel
Rip Hunter's time sphere
Flash's cosmic treadmill
I could not identify these last two, though they look incredibly familiar:

The pile of sand and water underneath the platform
The winged ship next to Wells' machine

Any ideas?

Any ideas?

It looked like the Lazarus Pit to me

Any idea what those items are on the pedestals by the time pod?

It's the"Real" Well's Time Machine from the movie Time after Time.
DAMMIT, I knew it I'd seen it before! Thank you sir! :D

Yeah, but those aren't time machines. And they glow green. ;)
