Was that Marla? I thought it was Ursula. (Although I guess that goes back to the issue @Christopher had mentioned earlier, about having trouble differentiating the two characters’ voices.)
You know what? I think you're right. Glad I'm not the only one having hard time being able to tell who's who.

Making the change in my post now.

Just binged the first three episodes on a long trip. Fairly enjoyable so far; the standout for me is Naveen Andrews' performance. Interested to see if they explain what happened to Ceti Alpha VI.

It was inevitable we'd get to Ceti eels before long. But why couldn't they detect Richter's eel with a tricorder or the scanning table? I guess that is consistent with "Operation: Annihilate," where McCoy didn't discover the flying pancakes' invasive tendrils in their victims until he operated on or autopsied them, but it doesn't make a lot of sense in the context of what tricorders and sickbay beds are usually shown to be capable of, particularly in modern productions.
I suppose them not easily being detectable unless you know precisely what you're looking for helps subtly smooth over one TWOK plot hole...

CHEKOV: Oh, sir! It was Khan! We found him on Ceti Alpha V. ...He... He ...put ...creatures in our bodies to control our minds,...
McCOY: It's all right. You're safe now.
CHEKOV: ...made us say lies, ...do things. ...But we beat him. ...He thought he controlled us, but he did not. The Captain was strong.
One would hope that McCoy would have scanned Chekov using a 2280's medical tricorder, and if he did so, had nothing come up as a red flag. And then the look on his face when the eel leaves Chekov's ear would not just be disgust, but sheer horror that he missed something like that by relying on technology...
