Obviously a bowl cut is the most logical choice.
Since when does "ugliness" denote "logic"?
Functional = beautiful.

I don't remember her hairstyle as being so elaborate; it was basically a type of bun, wasn't it?
T'Pring and T'Pau had the most elaborate hairstyles. I might charitably include Janice Rand, but it really does look like she plopped a basket on her head and decided that was a hairstyle.
I wouldn't judge Kim too harshly for her portrayal of Valeris, as I'm sure most of her Human qualities were Nick Meyer's doing. But she did come dangerously close to causing a commotion at Paramount, when she posed - After Hours - on the bridge of the Enterprise wearing nothing but her Vulcan ears and headband, with a lighting guy and photographer. Nimoy found out about this - somehow - and demanded that all of the prints and negatives be destroyed. He wasn't offended by the Artistic nature of it, but ... he suspected that Paramount would become electrified with rage and put an end to the franchise, altogether.Just vapid and shallow, with no real understanding of Vulcan characters. She wasn't playing a Vulcan. She was playing a ditzy human with pointed ears and a bizarre hairstyle who was pretending to be Vulcan (referring to the actress' portrayal and attitude and not the actual character, obviously).
Beehive shaped basket weave... It was the best of both worlds long before 1990!I don't remember her hairstyle as being so elaborate; it was basically a type of bun, wasn't it?

Replace "basket" with "beehive" and you'll have it right.![]()
Don't forget M'Pella. She is Bajoran, but has no nose ridges. Maybe she has human ancestors.....
