Last time in May I was disappointed that they cut off the ending of "The Klingon Encounter". Where you see a News Report in which the Government denies the sightings of the Enterprise and the Bird of Prey as Swamp Gas!! I am not sure if they cut it out completely or just so they can fit more rides into busy days. The monitor was still there.

Every time I been on Klingon Encounter, I have NEVER seen that part.

^That segment never seemed to be consistently running. Even back in the old days, I would see it some times and not others, with no apparent rhyme or reason. But, yeah, it seems to have been permanently gone for a very long time.

On most occasions, though, the monitor would be playing, but few people even noticed it and shuffled quickly to the exit. I guess they figured "why bother"?

I went on the Klingon Encounter twice while I was there over Christmas and while I didn't see the "news report" on my first run through it was playing the second time around. I thought it was a nice touch.

Do you happen to know where and when at the end I am supposed to look for this "report" during the ride? Is it before or after I take the elevator back to the gift shop?

It's right after you exit the ride in the hallway leading to the elevator.

Make sure you look up and to the left because the TV is mounted fairly high on the wall.

I haven't been on the Borg ride. They were just working on it the last time we went. I loved the Klingon Invasion though. The transporter effect was great, and I got a lump in my throat when I walked onto the bridge!

I hope they do a TOS era bridge. I'd go in a second!

^Let's hope the new movie does well enough that it not only keeps the Experience open but gives us a new ride as well!

They are going to have a TOS bridge as part of Star Trek: The Tour, along with another TNG bridge.

Here's it's website. They've also announced the first four cities after LA, but I can't find the list right now.
