Star Trek: Enterprise

I know micheal wants to write more Enterrpise books in fact he told me today he wanted to do write another enterprise novel that answers the lingering questions people have been discussing here. at the end of To brave the storm leaves off he said it's up to Enterrpise fans to let pocket books know that fants want want and demand in more new Enterrpise books to be published.

I know there is a thread about the new Ent novel, but since this thread is titled Star Trek: Enterprise I'll pose this question: does this new one signal the end of Star Trek : Enerprise? I hope not but I could see that happen.

Sadly, I'm betting yes - at least for a long while. Otherwise, why end the Romulan War series when it was only just beginning? The first book spanned a single year of the conflict, and this much shorter book covers all the rest? Margaret and Mike have both done interviews in the past where they hinted at much more expansive plans for these Rom War and Enterprise relaunch books. So the shift feels a lot like an editorial directive - a decision made by those who replaced Margaret Clark and Marco P at the publisher. Just from a sheer financial standpoint, if you aren't selling enough Romulan War Enterprise novels (compared I guess to the other Trek book lines) which might actually have some appeal to other Trek series fans, why would anyone think other Enterprise books would do better?

The editors made Mike cut out his middle novel In Shariel's jaws that was to continue the story on Vulcan and the aftermath of what happened at the end of in Beneath the raptors wings it was going to be the middle book in a 3 Romulan war book trilogy Micheal had to drop the story he wanted to tell and combine 2 novels in To brave the storm was to be the third and last book in the Enterprise Romulan war series.I really did like the novel but there was alot questions that you wish would be answered in a sequel I have to say I hope this novel seels weel i' think we've got alot of untold stories left to tell.
