Star Trek / Doctor Who crossover fan movie

I'm curious as to whether or not any fan movie production has ever attempted to make a STAR TREK / DOCTOR WHO crossover.

I just got this hilarious image in my head of Patrick Troughton landing the TARDIS aboard a starship, maybe the Enterprise, maybe some other one, and seeing him put on one of his fast-talking performances to a red-shirt security guard and it wasn't working.

I imagine it would be especially hilarious if the Doctor landed his TARDIS aboard the Enterprise-D and was confronted by Picard.

He lands on the NX-01 and is bored to death by the infamous "Gazelle" speech, forcing him to regenerate once again.

Ok, bad joke. Sorry about that.

I only recently got into doctor who, and by recently I mean within the last month or so. And by 'got into' I mean I watched from 2005 to now within the last month. While I did like the show, I'm not sure I'm as much of a "Whoinite" as some are. (is that the proper way to refer to a DW fan?)

That said, if written right I could see that as been hilariously funny.

While not a fan film, but I did write a fan fiction where the 13th Doctor runs across the NX-01 and the space-time continuum is disrupted by the Daleks. It was set between the final two episodes of Enterprise season 2 and was part of a series of 13th Doctor adventures I never got around to finishing.

I always thought it would be cool to pair Superman and the Doctor. After all, Clark Kent used to get into his costume in a phone booth, so in an emergency, he'd force his way into the TARDIS, and the Doctor would say, "Now you've gone and done it. Do you know how hard it is to get replacement parts on a Type 40 TARDIS?

They could switch partners, with Superman working with Leela and K9, and the Doctor working with Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen.

For another matter, both have a kind of "super" dog. K-9 and Krypto would be fun to watch.

And the villains would be Lex Luthor and the Master, who's in Metropolis to locate something--or someone--that can't be found anywhere else.

Just a thought.

The term you're looking for is Whovian, and yes a police call box is similar.
I too during my film studies at UMBC wrote a treatment for a Night Gallery/Doctor Who/Star Trek called Holodeck Gallery, and I had the Doctor #4 materialize on the holodeck, and the safeties are offline therefore someone gets killed and Captain Picard thinks the Doctor did the deed, but is proven innocent, and both of them work together to solve the murder.
What do you all think of that idea.

Not a bad place to start, Buck. I'd be interested just to see Picard's reaction upon entering the TARDIS, and getting Geordi's help repairing it. It has potential...
