Star Trek Discovery Leaving Netflix For Paramount+ Internationally, season 4 global launch in 2022

In some countries. Despite Paramount's claim these changes don't help the majority of the world.
I don't care about the minutiae and I wasn't soliciting an argument on the subject. Don't talk about illegal nethods of watching the show here. Period. You can magically show up having watched it and we'll just blink our eye and nod our head because ignorance is bliss, but just don't talk about how you watched it if it was less than legal methods, mmkay? It's not a difficult request.

Alex, I understand people are bummed about the situation and might seek alternative means of watching the show, but please don't talk about it here on the forum so we can maintain plausible deniability when people just magically have seen the episode. Especially now that a legal method has been offered.
Most of the world doesn’t have a legal method, even VPN is illegal. So that’s out of touch.

Good to see it appear on iTunes - I've been really confused about where this was actually going to be available (now to figure out if I can watch iTunes via my TV!)

VPNs are generally only illegal in more authoritarian countries that have a vested interest in preventing their people from having access to an unrestricted flow of information, like China, North Korea, Russia. Belarus, Turkey, etc.

They're legal in all the western nations that make up ~99% of the Trekbbs membership base. Hence the reason we are permitted to discuss them here

I've already given you a verbal warning about consolidating your posts instead of posting multiple times in a row, which you ignored, and now you're arguing my verbal warning about the board policy about describing or advocating methods of piracy. Is this really a hill that's worthy of dying on?

I've told you I'm sympathetic to your (and others) situation and that we can't control what you do in the privacy of your own home, but you just can't discuss it publicly on the board, because it represents a liability that can get the board's owners in trouble. Is that clear?

I'm not going to ask again. The next time results in infractions. And COMMENTS TO PM, which goes for everyone. I am not interested in a whole public argument about the merits of piracy. This is not even my personsl opinion. I'm just representing board policy, so jumping down my throat about it accomplishes nothing.

VPNs per se are legal, using them to access material that’s restricted in your country is as illegal as downloading them from a file locker (technically less illegal than p2p, as the upload is what’s considered the bigger deal and is even a felony in some countries).

Now available for purchase on prime too, £2.50 an episode, doesn’t look like there’s a season long deal yet.

I’m assuming I can watch from iTunes via airplay iTunes nothing else. Tempted to go for Apple rather than more money to Bezos.

Personally i only looked at PlutoTV very briefly a couple of months ago, I didn't see any Star Trek channel, but the other channels showed dubbed versions of various shows and movies. And personally I'd rather watch nothing at all than watch a dub.
So unless the Star Trek channel, if it's available, shows the original version of the shows it's not interesting to me.

I can confirm it's available on P+ in Nordics as well. Though only season 4 for now, seadons 1-3 are not there yet. Not sure when they are coming, or are they coming at all, but that's quite small problem since I have Blu-rays.

Big thanks to fandom and folks at Paramount who worked this solution so quickly.

Watching on Pluto TV as I write this. I’m currently in England, so I don’t know if it’s dubbed in other countries, but it’s working wonderfully!

At this point I’m a bit confused as to why CBS is trying to have two different streaming services active: p+ and Pluto.
