Jörg on Twitter spotted what might be a Disco version of a Xindi Insectoid. I suspect they just had a generic ant-like makeup at hand and someone said, let's make it a Xindi!
I can buy that the wasp- or fly-like Insectoids we saw in ENT aren't the only insectoid evolutionary designs in Xindi culture but yeah, that is pretty lazy. 
Thankfully it can be shrugged off since, you know, insects and variety.

This might be my favorite Discovery episode to date. The talky thoughtfulness is such a contrast to the way the show barreled through season one. It gave us interesting things to think about, and I’m happy to see that reflected in this thread.
Kovitch has turned out to be a great character, and I’m pleased he’s not the sinister weirdo you might expect to be played by Cronenberg.

I love the idea of him in a Short Trek.
If his backstory is anything other than, he is who we used to know as Odo then I don't want to hear it. Just leave it an open story point and let us think whatever we want.
Once again the Horta are discriminated against.

Rillak only invited delegates with hands. No filthy Horta or Tribbles or Pahvans allowed. Edosians and Terellians get extra votes.
Angering the crystalline entities is never a good idea.
I wonder if there's a Medusan delegate in a box or in a robotic manipulator getup like we see in Prodigy? Seems like the Medusans would be pretty well tied to the Federation by the Picard Era and might still be around after The Burn and the end of most warp travel.
