I tell my friends I love them all the time. I picked it up from friends who said it all the time. Why? Because nobody knows the future. She lost a dear friend and hated that she never told him, so now she makes sure everyone knows. I 100% can imagine Trekverse people, who have been through the stuff the Disco guys have, adopting a similar philosophy.

Exactly. I've been in situations were tragedy drew a small group of people closer together. The language between us as a group was more loving and repeated often. It might be unbelievable to some in the day to day but as Stamets notes the crew gave up everything to follow Burnham. That's going to breed an entirely different relationship.

I can now see why the episode is so long: it's the conclusion of both the Su'kal arc and the first episode of the season.

I gave it an 8.

And I like the way Mr. Booker turned out to be able to operate the spore drive through the new "goo" interface (albeit evidently not very well). Just as I rather like the way the Emerald Chain collapsed after Osyraa was, in effect, told "You are the weakest link; good-bye," with extreme prejudice (I can just picture Anne Robinson making a cameo).

Just finish watching the last episode from blu-ray. Why would those midget robot collapse when the ship is out of oxygen? They are robot, they don't need oxygen?

Not sure wtf you were watching but none of the DOTS collapsed because of a lack of oxygen. Most were destroyed by phaser fire and one was damaged by the magnetic component of the nacelles. Might want to pay attention next time.

Nothing?

It's just a weird storyline thing that came out of nowhere. It felt so forced, like a lot of things on the show imo.
Yeah. This show is too often telling instead of showing, which renders its plotlines and most characters both predictable and cliched.
