They aren't going to remain slaves.

It's Orion and Andoria against the Federations 38 member worlds, sure they might be able to make a fight of things, but with that level of resource disparity the winner was never really in question.
if it’s so, Exactly why the federation HQs are hidden and they haven’t defeated the chain exactly?

I’m under the impression the chain is not just two worlds: they seem to have plenty of systems governed by a single body with no dictator.

It might not be just the Andorians and Orions as we see humans working with Ossyra and I'm still convinced helmet guys are Breen

The Emerald Chain is evidently made up of more than just the Orions and Andorians - but even if it wasn't there's no reason why a single enemy couldn't be a match for the scattered, isolated Federation we've seen. Starfleet has lost countless ships and can barely get around.

Germany took on half the world in eighty years ago and only came up short because they poked the Russian bear.

It is kind of interesting to see Andoria going back to its pre-Federation pattern of violence and martial behavior. Once they left the Federation they no longer adhered to the wider ethics and behavioral regulations of both the Federation and Starfleet.

In this era seeing Andorians abuse and beat up Vulcans would be, unsurprisingly, familiar.

Got a question: Why did we never hear about this constant crying shit during the first two seasons? Is it because now that it's not a prequel, doesn't have TOS characters, or new Klingons, they're zeroing in on and fine-tuning the Burnham Hate? Because this shit's getting old.
Hate is a strong word. Dislike, disdain, pain in the ass, Boringham, stop talking.. yea that’s about right how I feel about Burnham

I gave it a 8/10. An interesting mix of dialogue, world building, character moments, and action.

Also did anybody notice and like the Emerald Chain logo/seal? It was a green circle enclosing two green stylised serpents, one larger than the other (Orions and Andorians?).

I also don't believe that the Chain is Andoria and Orion alone. I expect to see more detail on this.

John McClane Burnham was awesome.

There, that should keep some people entertained for a few hours. "Dear Lord, a positive post about our hated cry-baby, I need to get internet-angry then fall asleep feeling good about my internet-righteousness."

Really enjoyed this. Not the best of the season, but we're getting a glimpse into why the Chain is doing what it's doing, and even though Osyraa seemed to go back to being pretty evil at the end, I'm not yet convinced she's not sincere.
Stamets..... Man, I kinda don't like what happened at the end with him, but I also get it. Including how he hated against Burnham at the end. No one forced him to make the choice he made about going to the future, but I understand his need to get all angry there.

The trailer for this episode made me think I wasn't going to like it, but I did. Just one more episode to go.....

Shoes are completely integrated in the future. No need for the extra step of putting on socks. That's barbaric from the "old days", and totally uncivilized.
Captain Dayton of the USS Solvang made all of her Bridge crew take off their shoes as they entered the bridge to keep the carpet as new as possible. They were all wearing socks.
