Spoilers Star Trek Discovery 3x11 Season 3 Episode 11 Citadel - Promo Trailer

Seconding the curiosity about the title change from "The Citadel" to "Su'kal".
Also, interesting that they focus on Michael, Book, Grudge and Dr. Pollard.

Getting TNG ‘Masks’ vibes, but I have only watched the trailer once... probably way off the mark!

Interesting synopsis:
Discovery ventures to Verubin nebula, where Burnham, Saru and Culber make a shocking realization about the origin of the Burn as the rest of the crew faces an unexpected threat.

The two parter was mostly about concluding Georgiou's run on Discovery (which is what we got, along with seeing how her stay in the Prime universe changed her).
As for Starfleet being above board... meh, for all intense and purposes, Georgiou is not alive. We also don't know just how much of the experience Burnham told to Saru... but its probable she told him everything... but Saru concluded himself that Georgiou is 'deceased' and this is exactly what the rest of Starfleet will be told.

In regards to the Burn storyline not moving forward... to be fair, the writers have been progressing this bit slowly through the season.
Every character follow-up was mostly done every other episode... the main storyline (the Burn) was also progressed along similar lines... but more clues were given to the audience (like the music) in greater portions.
My comment was in regards to the episode 'Sanctuary'. But I appreciate you explaining the point of the last two episodes as well as the overall arc of the season. If only you were available to watch it in real time and explain it to me.

I just realized it. Is the nebula named after Vera Rubin? Any word on that?

So if Burnham transforms into a Trill and Culber into a Bajoran when they beam aboard the Kelpien ship, how do we know that the Kelpiens are actually Kelpiens? And if they are Kelpiens, they are from our universe?

We'll find out when we watch the episode.

Did anyone have a theory yet that the The Burn is based off of "The Alternative Factor." There has been a lot of TOS callbacks this season.

I think it was caused by an antimatter warp 10 salamander traveling through the Mycelial Network on an Omega Particle.
Impossible!!!!!!!!!

Everyone knows that salamander was traveling through Fluidic Space on an Omega Particle!

Also, Kurtzman hates canon so why would he dare sully it this way?

#fakeoutrage
