Did she even really go back? Wasn’t she just laying on the ground for just a minute or so? But then she had three months of data on her device. Probably an alternate MU.
That was the first time, the second she was actually going back in the real timeline.

Gonna give this episode an 8 1/2. The MU part was kind of predictable as usual until the final fight, then the 'twist' came and finally we get the reveal of whom Carl really is (you already saw in previous comments in this thread), which quite frankly I'm not sure what caused it to get RMB's panties all twisted in a knot. It was a decent episode and nice conclusion to Georgiou's story in the series. Detective Brass' voice actually almost was perfect for the voice and actually seem to align more with the idea Harlan Ellison had for the whole Guardian character. Also, not sure if it was just me that noticed, but the Guardian's wormhole effect kind of resembled the old Doctor Who tunnel vortex from the 70s during the Tom Baker era.

If it was only to test her, why would that Saru keep helping others?

Like in Contact ;)
What was with the upside down credits? Another mistake?
It's also inverted. Could have something to do with the Mirror universe, ya know...

we only assume she will be back in the 23rd century, but who knows?
Before the split - could be ancient Rome, or WW3, or while the planets still formed XD

I really enjoyed tonight's episode. I, too, wish we got to see where Georgiou ended up--but I suppose that was the writers giving themselves plenty of wiggle room for the Section 31 show--we only assume she will be back in the 23rd century, but who knows?
.

I guess the new Section 31 show is basically a Quantum Leap reenactment starring Michelle Yeoh, where Emperor Georgiou leaps from one timeline to another to try to safe the known world??;)

I didn’t get that at all. He sent her back to the timeline with SNW I believe.

On my first viewing, I skipped ahead to when they are back on Dannus V. I didn't see anything canon breaking in having the GoF having an avatar. They were acting out of self-preservation.

On my second viewing, I watched the whole episode. I don't care much for the mirror universe. I think that the Emperor's actions created an alternate timeline, a parallel universe, so what we saw in the first season still happened.

I think it is the first time since Enterprise that we have had a reference to Denobulans.

I noticed in the second viewing that the bracelet on the Emperor's arm had a red light, not a green light, indicating her death was imminent.

And, I think this is the first time that planet in the mirror universe is actually different in appearance from its prime universe counterpart. Risa, in the mu, had a ring system, while the Risa, in the pu, does not.

I was disappointed in the beginning credits. Flipping the images upside and giving them a different color hue is, for me, a "why bother?" thing.

Finally, are they setting something up with Booker? The writers are creating the aura of suspicion about this character.
