Techno-babble, pseudo-science, and Piller filler.I wonder how the Trill symbiot has managed to survive for two years in the body of a human and if it'll come into play this season?

Bet on it.I wonder how the Trill symbiot has managed to survive for two years in the body of a human and if it'll come into play this season?
5000 quatloos on the kid keeping the symbiote “because reasons”.Bet on it.
Side bet of 20,000 quatloos that, contrary to the expectations of some, Burnham will not usurp all the central story lines intended for other characters. Contest by multiple elimination.10,000 quatloos the human kid begins to reject the symbiont and Michael Burnham becomes the new host for highly contrived reasons.
They're going to Trill (or a trill world at least) next week, so it's probably going to the new Trill character 'Grey'10,000 quatloos the human kid begins to reject the symbiont and Michael Burnham becomes the new host for highly contrived reasons.
He did.Hold on did Stamets just tell the 16 year old their big secret, the whole spore drive and the fact they are from 930 years ago?
Where’s the fun in that? You won’t get much of a return on your bet if you’re gonna be boring like that. They're going to Trill (or a trill world at least) next week, so it's probably going to the new Trill character 'Grey'
Deduction for bad writing, I give it 6 pointsYep. Totally spilt the beans. Er, mushrooms.

Well, Stamets has just navigated a jump, was still tripping on the ‘shrooms (which have given him flashes of the future before), and he already knew the kid would join the crew?Deduction for bad writing, I give it 6 points
The Chase explained there was a single alien race four billion years ago. That really doesn't explain why there's not say a race 50,000 years or 2, 10, or 100 million years old.

Pretty soon Adira can shroom on their own.Yep. Totally spilt the beans. Er, mushrooms.
I posted something similar. It really does include a SW vibe.I posted it earlier, but I really feel like this season of Discovery has been the mashup of Star Trek and Star Wars that I've wanted for a long time. Somehow, mashing these things up has made it feel more like both Star Trek and Star Wars, and mostly in good ways.
Or 32nd century medicine is helping. My theory: 1) Adira has some Trill ancestors she doesn't know yet or 2) The symbiont can integrate itself easily with a young humanoid host. Adira was only 14 when she was joined with the Tal symbiont. Perhaps it's able to survive better inside a younger non-Trill body? Perhaps she also takes regular injections of Trill plasma/DNA so her body doesn't reject it
Calista Flockhart?
Hold on, did Stamets just tell the 16 year old their big secret, the whole spore drive and the fact they are from 930 years ago?
Fine, but how will I know if she's like Wesley?
