Given how often royalty act as trendsetters I hope we get a line about how the Xaheans are all going crazy for spumoni ice cream
I hope she's not there as some comic relief and actually serves some purpose.
The fact that that particular species determines its existence to be completely related to their home planet...
This is going to be quite interesting.
Somehow their existential existence is going to be tied in to time travel, I can just feel it.
This may also end being a Tilly Heavy episode.
Gonna have to go back and rewatch that short to see if there are any other clues.

I'm sure she'll have plenty of serious scenes during the two-parter. I just think from the picture this is going to be a quick, funny scene to establish that Po and Tilly have already met.

That pretty much confirms that all shorts are relevant to the Discovery main show. If Calypso does not, it would be very odd indeed.

Yeah, I can't see how they're going introduce Mudd into the last 2 episodes, unless Season 2 ends on a Mudd cliff hanger for Season 3.

I have no clue at this point what that actually means, but she pretty much proved during the story that she was way beyond what most folks would call an idiot and bordered on savant.
