They made a thing about how all her memories had been "backed up"
Well, they did find that prototype cyborg named Prior-2 a while back, maybe Airiam can transfer her memories into it.

Yep. I'm pretty sure it was a deliberate choice to ignore Nhan so we would think she was out of the picture, so her last minute save would be be more effective.
Loved this episode, cried when Airiam died. That said, to me the plot hole was... How could Saru see the Vulcan Admiral's heat signature through a view screen? Wouldn't he have just seen the heat signature given off by the view screen itself?
I really believe we haven't seen the last of Airiam, don't ask me to rationalise that feeling, I just have a hunch.
Are we ever really sure that we're done with anybody? From the trailer, it kinda-sorta looks like we are going to see a funeral for Airiam in the next episode.
So we are definitely NOT done with her yet.
Unless the viewscreen is supplying more than just visual information. As many have argued in the landmark case "Windows vs. Viewscreen" a viewscreen can incorporate a number of sensory information in to their display, and not just a visual image.Loved this episode, cried when Airiam died. Well, your brain is actually interpreting what the eyes see, so in short...I don't know. Maybe he can see both heat signatures?
You are assuming the cameras only record the visible spectrum and the screens only emit the same.Loved this episode, cried when Airiam died. That said, to me the plot hole was... That implies their cameras operate on a larger spectrum and the monitors reproduce that spectrum. Not impossible, seeing that its a science vessel and that level of detail could be needed, or for specie like Saru that see outside the human range and might need those "colors" for communications purposes.Well, your brain is actually interpreting what the eyes see, so in short...I don't know. In real life, people usually don't black out for long unless it's life-threatening. If you faint from lack of air, you fall, blood rushes to your head, you wake up...And I think it worked. My first reaction was "how the hell did Michael operate the airlock" I had written Nhan out of the picture.
One thing that irritates me slightly is that they showed Nhan losing consciousness. That seems a bit like cheating. I don't see how she would regain consciousness.
On re-watch, I noticed that Nhan passed out on the side where her breather was still attached. I guess the pressure pushed it closed to her nose and mouth and revived her. She was holding it closer when we saw her after she spaced Airiam. And I think it worked. My first reaction was "how the hell did Michael operate the airlock" I had written Nhan out of the picture.

Still no. Neither of them were attached. On re-watch, I noticed that Nhan passed out on the side where her breather was still attached.
Then where did that black circular mark on the left side of her face come from?Still no. Neither of them were attached.
What? From the separated breathing device. Re-re-watch it, neither of them are there, she is desperately trying to reach one. Then where did that black circular mark on the left side of her face come from?
Wonder if she''l pop in (since she's probably the "Red Angel") to attend her own funeral?
Re-watched. Airiam pulled one of the devices off Nhan's face causing Nhan to lift her hand to that side and gasp in pain and/or from deficiency of whatever she breathes. The other one was still on Nhan's face when Airiam tossed her against the wall. What? From the separated breathing device. But not when she was struggling on the floor. Both are gone. The one she is trying to reach is the one Airiam didn't rip off. Certainly the other wouldn't be anywhere near her, it would be where Airiam and Burnham were.Re-watched.
