Thanks everyone. There are various programs you can use to record stuff. The best free one is probably Audacity. You should be able to find it easily enough.
If you like. Visit the volunteer section of the Dauntless forum. BTW, you wouldn't happen to have any writing abilities, do you?
Also, I'm looking for people to play the villains. The main one is Captain Darwin, his first is name undecided. He will be different from other villains in that he is not the main main bad guy who will come into a later episode, Darwin will just be in the pilot. I suppose the best way to describe him is as a mindless drone, he receives an assignment (destroying the entire Federation) and sticks with it. Also, the reason for the attack on the Federation is not the normal one, it's a surprise.

Sorry, I forgot to credit Joel3d for the T. Rex skeleton model in the ready room and Stuart Baldwin for the LCARS.
ok here are my suggestions for the sets.
the furniture seems to bulky/ blocky and unrealistic, maybe use some furniture from one of the many repositories out there.
the lighting is getting a lil bit better, but there seems to be something wrong with the ready room ceiling, where there is light coming from the middle of the ceiling where light is not suppossed to be emitting. maybe use two area lights, one on each part where the light is being emitted from instead of one big one in the middle of the room. and then take the hard and spec of the materials and make them both as close to zero as they can go. also most rooms have like spot lamps on a track to light some areas, you can see it a lot in ent and voyager, and on the defiant as well.

The ready room lighting is like that because I couldn't think of a new light style so I just got one from sickbay, I'll try to make a new one over the next few days.
I think that before I do the pilot movie I will do a short vignette set after the pilot which will be about 5 minutes long. Unfortunately I can't think of any interesting stories that could be so short so If anyone has an idea, speak up.
Something came up which means that I probably won't be able to complete this, in fact I'll be leaving the forums. I will continue to work on the models just in case I return but it's unlikely to happen anytime soon. Sorry to dissapoint everyone who was looking forward to this. If only I could find voice actors without the internet.
