Star Trek Continues - First Vignette Released

Well, I suppose they could have had a little view-screen pow-wow with the CO of the Potemkin and have it be a woman...

I'd rather seem them do a crossover with the U.S.S. Hannibal out of George Kayaian's Multiverse Crisis. The captain there is a tough cookie. I like her a lot.

A bit OT: Am I the only one who was "weirded out" by the guy helping his girlfriend become a man?

Yes, if you check out Dr. Arthur Coleman's "Relationship Status" on Facebook, it reads "It's Complicated."

Loved it I want more!
Was a big fan of Farragut and I am glad they can continue with the top notch production values

So great to see/hear Chris doing such a good job with his father's character. I also love Grant's Takei-voice. :)

...And am I crazy, or does the guy playing Kirk remind anyone else of Jack Lord?

If you are then I am too because the resemblance jumped to my mind also ...

Excellent work, and I can't wait to see more.

One little nit: Angela Martine (Barbara Baldavin) was at communications in this episode. Uhura (Nichelle Nichols) was nowhere to be found.

Shift change. ;)

I wonder why they didn't just show Uhura taking over for someone. but what was really odd is Kirk just left the bridge in a crazy state 10 mins before and then came back and suddenly everyone forgot he'd been acting crazy. Seems like they continued the visual of Turnabout Intruder but forgot the substance of the epsiode. Especially with McCoy acting so strange.

Both of those are the best as far as recreating the original characters.

Bones...more like Bozo the clown. Spock...an Asian Spock...really?

Some shots of him reminded me of Dr. Smith from Lost In Space.

I watched this again, only this time on my TV, and I have to say that I picked up detail that to me, actually gave it the look that very much resembled an episode of the original series. I have to give the lighting and camera guys credit.

I wasn't too sure of the portrayal of some of the iconic characters here, but having said that, I'd a similar reaction to Phase II once upon a time, and I think the actors there matured into their roles very well. As, I imagine, will the actors here.

To me, saying X or Y captured [fill in the Trek Character] properly or not is starting to get like saying whose Hamlet is best. I find room for multiple interpretations.

:wtf:

(to the tune of "Rawhide") Trollin', trollin', trollin'....MarsWeeps keeps on trollin'....

Aw, hell, you fill in the rest...
