A bit wider and roundier, weren't they?Ugh. I wish they'd fix those overhead viewers already. The proportions and the corners are all wrong. Having grown up with the original it always smacks "wrong" every time I see it.

I guess at the time they built the bridge it was strictly for Starship Farragut, so they weren't trying to pass it off as the Enterprise. No, there's a difference. The originals were distinctly larger.

Quick n dirty extraction of proportions using perspective drawing techniques. Using the same station points (screen centers and corners) I projected lines on diagonals to see where they end up: and they're really different.
Again, it's just a nit on an otherwise fine set. It just never looks right to me.
I get the Subspace Chatter updates and, yes, some of those pics look like they could well be from Ep. 4. McKenna's hair is different, Kirk is wearing the green wrap-around (not seen in TOS's third season) and Chuck Huber is posing as McCoy.
I had some problems with it too. Try going directly to vimeo.com/115610576I can't get it to play, tried three browsers and nothing but blackness.
