Well, thanks for pointing out the damn creases. Now I'm sure I'll notice them and join you in your misery.Bix, I am teasing. But he does seem to refer to the way the sets are laid out on the soundstage. JC from Phase II goes to great lengths the recreate background items in Kirk's quarters which I have never even noticed before. STC never touches on this.
I agree a good story is what is needed most. Still, I hate those damn creases and I hope they disappear soon : )
That's a good point, and I also appreciate that they have stuck with the 4:3 ratio, which is essential if you're pretending it's 1969.For me a huge difference is the way sets are lighted. STC recreates that TOS look very well. It's something that I've never seen to the effect elsewhere.
And there was much rejoicing.FWIW, our last episode "Mind-Sifter" was released in 4:3 aspect ratio.
I watched the first episode "Pilgrim in Eternity". I was impressed by how faithful it is to TOS. The sets are excellent. The music and sounds are right from the classic series. And, the plot, including the closing banter between Spock, McCoy and Kirk was very reminiscent of TOS. I was also pleasantly surprised to see Muthbusters' Grant Imahara.

Definitely check out the other two episodes, the production improves with each new episode. Haberkorn just nails Spock in the latest (Fairest). I hope he keeps a little edge in his future performances. And the guest actors in Lolani...just stellar.
I will definitely watch the next episodes. Star Trek Continues has the best production value of all the fan productions I've seen.

If you mean for Star Trek fan films, I would say STC is easily among the top 5 producers.
