We'll they have spoken of building a Main Engineering set along with the Emergency Manual Monitor level. They've also spoken of building additional sets when they are able as they progress.
I'd like to see them finish the Bridge all around. Eventually they could also use a shuttlecraft interior.
I love how they've green screened the shuttlecraft flight deck--that is awesome and something we never got to see on TOS. There's also McCoy's lab eventually.
Of course, eventually, they could also fashion other sets never before seen by redressing existing sets and even designing new ones of parts of the ship not previously seen. As long as they maintain that TOS aesthetic then it would still look authentic.

Watching that set tour video, i got the impression there is a shuttlecraft interior right next to the bridge.

I think I know what you're referring to, but I don't know what that is.
Enough with the "bottle show" put-downs.
Kitumba had plenty of non-ship locations and probably the largest extra-count of any fan-trek to-date but you know what? It wasn't as good as any of the STC episodes.
There's no reason you can't tell a great yarn with just the Enterprise interior sets. I also happen to appreciate the claustrophia that brings. Space is vast and I don't want it to feel like there's a Starbase every 8 hours for a pitstop. It's the final frontier, remember? A starship should feel like a little rowboat lost in the middle of the ocean.
The Good: Todd Haberkorn knocked my socks off. He was sufficiently different from the Spock we know to add something unique. Chris Doohan's acting has improved, but I hated the characterization.
The Bad: The pacing was atrocious. It might have served the original series to show major political changes occur as immediately as a new paradigm is introduced, but it is really unrealistic, especially where our "heroes" are concerned. Moreover, the original episode did show the Mirror Enterprise crew fully committed to the political culture of the Terran Empire; they were not simply terrorized by a tyrannical Kirk.
The ?: I don't think the All the King's Men references worked well. YMMV.

Another fantastic installment by the people at Star Trek Continues! I will admit that at first I was hesitant, because I'm not a fan of MU episodes. That said, this turned out to be an interesting look at what could happen when hope replaces fear.
The look and feel of the show continues to improve. I immediately accepted that this was the Enterprise. The sets make me feel right at home. The costumes are well done, and add an air of legitimacy to the characters. Speaking of, the characters are spot on, with Todd Haberkorn doing a solid job of putting his own affectations on a MU Spock. Chris Doohan once again fooled me into thinking I was watching his father. I don't think you could have a better love letter than that.
Still, Vic Mignogna has broken my fragile little mind. While watching him perform, this odd thing would happen: He would shock me into realizing he wasn't William Shatner. I would get so into his performance, that when he would back away, and I could see his face directly, I would realize that this isn't TOS, and that wasn't William Shatner, and then I would wonder what had just happened.
To add, from some angles, depending upon the lighting, he does favor Shatner, so I'm sure that helps complete the illusion. Still, it just gets me every time, and he does such a wonderful job, that I can't help but be fooled. He may be the best Captain Kirk I've seen since the 1960s.
The story itself was enjoyable. I've seen comments about having bottle shows, but I'm fine with that. If they did all bottle shows, it wouldn't bother me one bit. STC feels so much like TOS, I just feel lucky to get to experience it myself, firsthand, like so many fortunate fans did in the 1960s.
In short, I was impressed, and STC continues to lead the way in TOS fan film productions, IMO. Well done, all of you. I can't wait to see what's next!

Vic is, IMO, amazing as Kirk. Todd was growing on me as Spock... but this performance was epic! I'd hope he's drawn on some of his anime roles for inspiration.

Yeah, Todd makes a good Spock. I realize how difficult it must be play a character that is both human and detached from humanity in some ways, and to present it as cool and rational without being cold and unfeeling. That's a hell of a tightrope, and I think Todd walks it very well.
This was a good tale, yet far from being the best Trek fan film ever. Too many times I was taken out of the story by Vic playing Kirk. An example is every single time he says "Mister Spock." It comes out sounding like Misstusssppockkk or something similar. Plus, again no offense to the actor, but James T Kirk was 32 when TOS ran and the actor is 20 years older. May not matter in the grand scheme of fan films but if this production lasts even half as long as Phase II, he's going to be way to old to play Kirk. At least Phase II hired Brian, who's age fits with the Captain.
The guy who plays Spock was better this time out and I'm glad that we saw little of the counselor character.
One other question, how many actors from Phase II is this production going to poach?

In an interview Vic Mignogna may have alluded that he might not expect to play Kirk for an extended run. That said he's in remarkable shape considering his age. And given his performance he's the only one I've been able to accept as Kirk other than Shatner.
Chuck Huber as McCoy remains an open question simply because we haven't seen enough of him yet. The rest of the cast is fine save for Grant Imahara. He has moments, but he also needs to learn subtlety. He was nothing like Takei's Mirror Universe Sulu.
I rather liked Lieutenant Smith and I can easily see her in the Prime Universe.
Overall I think this episode was praise worthy, but it isn't above criticism...of the nitpicky variety. There were occasional lines of dialogue I think could have been better or more in character. I think they could have afforded a bit more time to flesh things out. The mention of Andorian rebels suggests that rebellion (at least small scale) isn't at all a new thing. But a few more lines of dialogue could have fleshed the background out a bit.
I see Spock's acts as the beginning of the Empire's collapse. This could drag on for quite some time, maybe years, before Spock can go home (so to speak).

He looks like a cross between Shatner and Pine and has the heart of a teenager. 
Likewise. He's also aging pretty gracefully. I think he's got several years before the difference between his and TOS-era Shatner's appearance becomes striking.
As for STC "poaching" actors from Phase II, it's hardly surprising that actors who really like Star Trek would be open to working on other such productions.
He's the Jim Kirk whose dad wasn't around to pull him into line. But that's a debate for another thread.
I mean to ask the question on the STC Facebook if this MU is going to follow the timeline established by DS9 or if it will effectively ignore it. I kind of hope the latter.
