Spoilers STAR TREK BEYOND

I'm digging the title. It definitely represents the nature of the new movie, what more can you ask for?

Star Trek Beyond really works for me as a title. It's a sense of mystery and exploration -going beyond the reaches of experience and discovering what's out there. Beyond anything we've ever seen before.

I have a very sneaky suspicion that despite the title and the departure of Damon Lindelof, this film will still feature Earth to some degree. Sadly that's one thing Star Trek has that Star Wars doesn't.

There is only one, maybe two films, in the entire franchise that didn't have at east one earth based scene.

Obviously the intent with the new movies is to incorporate the series title into the film title rather than super it, emphasizing "Trek" as an active verb.

I like the title. I like the connotation to mystery the title has.

An OK, if somewhat bland title. It does remind me a little of titles such as "Star Trek Generations" and "Star Trek Nemesis" which both tried to be clever and unfortunately didn't quite meet expectations.

Those aren't the same kind of phrases that the nuTrek titles are. They were one-word titles with "Star Trek" supered on.

Not really digging Star Trek Beyond, but at the end of the day it's just ST13 by any other name.

If we have to do this weird "sentence instead of a title" thing, I'd have gone with Star Trek Boldly.

The title is actualy Star Trek Be-Yond, and is about the Enterprise crew finding a android called Be-yond on a alien planet, who turns out to be Data's big android brother, and the hilarity that ensues from him joining the crew.

Could have been worse, they were going to have it be data's andriod sister, called Be-yond-ci. (groan)
