Star Trek: Aurora

Just finished the first four parts of this particular fan outing. It is a fully cgi dip into the merchant service in the Star Trek (TOS) universe. All I can really say is "Wow!" Great characters, good writing, decent voice talent, awesome little ship! Its sort of "Firefly meets Star Trek." Original and well worth watching. I can't wait for the next installment.

Aurora really is an amazing accomplishment. Computer technology is making it possible to do mind blowing things with CGI, SFX and animation. The "Aurora" Universe isn't dystopic, but it does show a plausible side to the glamour and wide eyed optimism of GR's original TNG vision.

Doggone it! When I saw the thread's title, I hoped that Aurora was ready to go, and I could finally get to see the whole episode! Sigh.
