I like the design of the ship, and the idea of combining all the gadgets into the uniform is interesting, but you have to carry something. If you don't have anything in your hands, you can't look busy, and if you don't look busy, someone is going to give you something to do. In Star Trek, that's likely to be "hey you, go take a look over that rise" or around that corner or in that cave and then you're dead.
