My mom picked up Hollywood Icon's 50th Anniversary Best of Star Trek magazine for me while she was shopping earlier today. I've only read through a little bit so far, but it seems like a nice little overview of the franchise, starting with The Cage and going all the way through Discovery. I've never heard of the magazine or publisher, but it seems pretty good so far. The only odd thing I've noticed so far is that they talk about Roddenberry wanting to create a show about a "airship" rather than star or spaceship. It's mostly picture with small bits of text, but there are some pretty cool pictures.
I've seen a whole bunch of other 50th anniversay magazines, including one from Newsweek I already started a thread for, and ones from Entertainment Weekly and Time. So anybody picked up any of these?
EDIT: Later yesterday I decided to pick up the EW one too.
