Let’s hope they share the ship CGI assets with merch providers so we can at least enjoy ship models and playable ships in the various games.
This.I have a really hard time seeing them regrouping that quickly. Paramount is a mess. I'd look for 2024/25, and possibly with a new studio.
I'll order the Eaglemoss model as soon as they announce it.I really wanted a model kit of the 1701-A, but it looks like I'll have to make it by 3d printing it myself.
Actually Paramount approached Abrams in 2006 and then they started filming in 2007 with a release date of December 2008, before it got pushed back to May 2009.It only took two years after Paramount approached Abrams to have Star Trek 2009 in theaters. If they greenlight another movie in the next six months, it's possible to get it in theaters two years after that.

They've been quoted before as saying they were waiting to see if the design changed for ST4 before doing one. Now we know there won't be a Star Trek 4...I'll be surprised if Eaglemoss ever does one. They make every other "nobody" ship under the sun, but have been very reticent on the Kelvinverse 1701-A.
Crazy as it sounds, I'd love a Voyager reboot, akin to the 1999 Lost in Space. Have the USS Voyager be dumped into the middle of Borg space and pick up Seven of Nine after an initial skirmish and boarding, take on the Borg Queen and be home in 2 hours.Well that sucks...
So... another TOS reboot or a TNG one this time?![]()
Paramount is desperate for franchises. Trek will return sooner rather than later and with a new creative team.
I doubt it will be "sooner". They are going to have to re-evaluate pretty much everything they are doing with Star Trek. With multiple shows on the horizon with All-Access, will people be willing to shell out cash to go to the theater?
The general audience has zero idea that Star Trek Discovery even exists, in the US anyway.
Well thats how long it takes to commute across town in London Star Trek - Rush Hour 4Crazy as it sounds, I'd love a Voyager reboot, akin to the 1999 Lost in Space.
