Klingon war?

they achieved a great deal in epicness/FX with FCs 45m budget - surely they could do just as well with a borg movie on about a 130m budgetAs much as I'd love to see this movie, I'd bet money Paramount is going to want this movie to make bank. Do you know what two of the highest grossing Trek movies are? Time travel and Borg. Since they're going to want to go cheaper on this one to maximize profits, I'd bet they'll do the Borg invading present day Canada or Georgia. I hope I'm wrong!

Better than the Borg.Klingon war?

Good to know.I totally concur!![]()
If they stick to the actors ages and show ten years have past - Kirk should be an Admiral, McCoy running a private practise, Uhura and Spock on New Vulcan as head of the council, Scotty running the SCE, Sulu and Jayla Captain of the Enterprise B and XO respectively. Carol Marcus is suing Kirk for a divorce, Commander Rand Operations head and Commander Darwin, Head of Tactical on the Enterprise B.
With cameo performances from Admiral Lorca of Starfleet Intelligence and Federation President Michael Burnham-Lorca (yea I ship those two)
This pleaseI do feel like a visual reboot is necessary though. Abandon the 60s TOS inspired elements. Uniforms etc. Maybe new uniforms inspired instead by the maroons from the original movies instead.
No I was thinking the work area's like the bridge, main engineering would be smaller and without fancy looking designs. Science labs would be small and NASA like. Residental area though be designed for human comfort. A place were you can go and sort of forget for awhile you living in a cramp tin can for years on years. JasonSo there is a danger of hitting your head but there is also carpeting?
You cant really go backwards from what they already established on movies I-III (although the classic movies did just that, they really shouldn't have)I was thinking the work area's like the bridge, main engineering would be smaller and without fancy looking designs

Enough time has passed the ship could have gone through many refits. Heck they could blow it up and know be onto Enterprise B. Maybe they don't even use a Enterprise. Would be interesting if theyhad to use a Klingon ship or maybe Romulan. Personally I'm kinda expecting them to cut huge corners by reusing and redressing the Discovery/Enterprise/Picard sets.
