Star Trek 2010

Can I just say that The Children of Kings was so damn good? More Dave Stern TOS right away!
After his tepid Enterprise novels and the ebook price hike, I'd skipped it. But I need something escapist right now, so thanks for that recommendation. :techman:

I think my 2010 Trek highlight was finishing my 200th Trek novel...which happened to be "A Hard Rain" by Dean Wesley Smith.

^ Ugh, rough choice! Though I'm not really one to talk; my 200th (also this year) happened to be By The Book, by the same author (and partner Kristine Kathryn Rusch).

I had to knock it out at some point. At least the cover art is top notch.

Yeah, mine too.

I think Rosetta was a tad weaker than the others, but overall Stern's Enterprise books were rather good. I would really have liked to see him tackle the Relaunch.

Haven't read The Children of Kings yet for some reason. I have it on my shelf since release, but somehow it got lost in the shuffle of my breaking into the Doctor Who NSAs it seems.

Same for me. I got it when it first came out, but I've been getting distracted by other things. It's going to be one of the next things I read.
