Star Trek (2009) Line-by-Line

<snip>

Randi is checking with CoveTom to see whether he wants to start the new line-by-line thread and has said she'll get back to me when she gets an answer from him. Let's just stick with that plan, shall we?

That shouldn't be an issue since it will probably take longer than a month to get a XII LbL thread started until than we can do XI.:)
Look at my post immediately above yours. ;)

I would like to re-run the XI thread!
I could say something about waiting for someone to say "Okay, you go ahead with that" but it would seem I've missed the chance. I think the rules need some redefining, though. This part, in particular:

...and post as many times as you like as many times in a row.
is not going to fly. I don't mind people posting often and I'm going to try not to impose a 5 posts-per-day limit or anything like that, but someone who has just posted a line must wait until at least one other person has posted the next line (and ideally more than one person) before posting again. What I don't want to see is anyone posting ten lines in a row with no posts from others intervening -- that's against board rules and it's hogging the ball, when the idea is supposed to be that everyone gets to participate (even if that means waiting a little while before posting.)

I like the instructions CoveTom gave at the beginning of this thread:

...

For any unfamiliar with our "game," you are asked to post only a single line (defined as one character speaking without interruption by another character) per message. You can post as often as you like, but someone else must post a line in between your posts. We don't include alot of "stage directions" and so forth, but do generally try to note when a scene changes from one location to another.
...

That's short, simple and to the point. I'd recommend using this and the rest of his opening post as a guideline.

Alright, since it seems to be the general consensus, I've started a new line-by-line thread to redo the movie. I used the same guidelines as before -- as many posts as you want, but someone must post in between your posts.

That good for everyone?
