Pike: Well, it depends on how you define winning... you're here aren't you?
Pike: You know, that instinct to leap without looking, that was his nature too. That, in my opinion is something Star Fleet's lost.
Pike: "Cos i looked up your file while you were drooling on the floor. Your aptitude tests are off the charts, so what is it? You like being the only genius level repeat offender in the midwest?
Pike: Look, so your dad dies, you can settle for less than an ordinary life. But you feel like you were meant for something better. Something special. Enlist in Starfleet.
Pike: If you're half the man your father was Jim, Starfleet could use you. You could be an officer in four years, you can have your own ship in eight. You understand what the Federation is, don't you? It's important. it's a peace keeping and humanitarian armada.
KIRK: We done?
(Next scene: Riverside Shipyard ...Kirk on his bike, looking up at the Enterprise. Then, riding his bike to the shuttle).
Mechanic: Nice ride man!

KIRK(getting off bike and tossing the ignition keys to the technician): It's yours!
Kirk to Pike: Four years? I'll do it in three.
(Boards shuttle) to Cupcake, et al: "At ease gentlemen".
Sees Uhura and says: Never did get that first name.

Officer: You need a doctor!
"I dont need a doctor, damn it, i am a doctor."
Tiny lil' Officer: You need to get back in your seat!!!
Tiny Officer: Sir for your own safety sit down or else i'll make you sit down!!
