SPOCK: Pardon me, but I do not believe we are acquainted!
Nero: No we're not... not yet. Spock, there is something I would like you to see. Captain Pike, your transporter has been disabled. As you can see by the rest of your armada, you have no choice. You will man a shuttle and come aboard the Narada for negotiations. That is all.
Kirk: He'll kill you, you know that.
Kirk: Captain, we gain nothing by diplomacy. Going over to that ship is a mistake.
Pike: I understand that. I need officers who've been trained in advanced hand to hand combat.
Sulu: (meekly raises hand) I have training, sir...?
Pike: Come with me. Kirk, you too, you're not supposed to be here anyway. Chekov, you have the con. (they leave the bridge)
Chekov: Ah--Aye, sir!
(Camera pulls out of bridge, and does a wierd "barrel roll" shot of the Enterprise)

Pike: Without transpoters we can't beam off the ship. We can't assist Vulcan, we can't do our job. Mr. Kirk, Mr. Sulu, engineer Olson will space jump from the shuttle. You will land on that machine that they've lowered into the atmosphere that is scrambling our gear, you'll get inside, disable it, then you'll beam back to the ship. Mr. Spock, I'm leaving you in command of the Enterprise. Once we have transport capabilities and communications back up you'll contact Starfleet and let them know what the hell is going on. And if all else fails fall back, meet up with the rest of the fleet in the Laurentian System. Kirk, i'm promoting you to first officer.

We follow Spock back up to the bridge.
Spock: Dr. Purry, report.
