the fact that the Head of CW is talking about this at all is big, nothing may come of it...but it is still big...means someone wants Trek Back on TV as well at the Box office...

They could put it near one of the less popular DC shows...not everything on CW has to be DC...but that Assuming CBS does this and it not just Idle Talk...
Unless that someone is Les Moonves then it simply isn't happening.
Moonves, at some point I think will jump on the Trek Bandwagon but he seems to like Crime and Comic Book shows cause it has a wider audience in his mind.

Well *my* source says that there'll be a new Trek puppet show! And it'll be just like my 5th grade speech performance of "Who's on First?" In other words - terrible (but yet manage to win a gold medal).
I played around with him for a little while but now I just feel sorry for Para and the writer of the new Trek movie, Leslie Owen.

I have a question and don't want to start a war in Fan Productions. What happens if CBS decides on January 31st to make a new series and sends out 'cease and desist' letters to all these productions that have collected fan money and committed long-term to warehouses for studios?
It would cause a lot of people to go into bankruptcy. Okay, maybe not... but there would be a financial fallout I think.
But I think it would also damage a lot of relationships with the fans who've produced, paid for and view these fan films. They have decent fan bases. It may damage CBS' end product. People may not watch if they can't have both their fan films and their real Trek.
Regardless, I don't think its going to happen.

Leslie B. Owens is even better. Right now she's trying to explain patiently to us noobs that stories at Deadline are plants from Bad Robot and that things like the announcement about Jung and Pegg aren't official and shouldn't be believed.
